Tales

1
There is a popular folk song about the Scarlet Sorceress to the effect that she would burn the eyebrows of the children who refuse to sleep at night.

2
Mirael loves fireworks. She often mixes her magic into firework shows, with or without permission.

3
There's a tiny graveyard behind Mirael's childhood home of her toys, all of which were incinerated when she lost control of her powers. One gravestone says, "Here lies Mr. Tomatohead. Thank you for protecting me from the monster in the closet."

4
Although she's known by her ominous moniker as the Scarlet Sorceress, Mirael is actually very well-liked by the farmers that live in her town. She's been known to defeat dangerous Hypofiends and turn barren land into fertile fields.

5
Mirael's admission into the Serene Lyceum was heavily scrutinized by the faculty until Magister Merlin spoke up and she was allowed to attend.

6
The most recent improvement of the safety protocols for potion-making was proposed by Mirael, for which she received a commendation from the Lyceum. "She's the brightest mage of her age I've ever met," said her potions professor.

7
Although Mirael never mentions her days at the Lyceum, she never takes off her Outstanding Student Award medal and can be found cleaning it on occasion.

8
The Serene Lyceum has its own school history museum. In there, one will find an imperial invitation. "Dear Ms. Mirael, the Lightbearer Empire would like to extend to you an invitation to become a Royal Magister of the Imperial Court..." She refused.

9
The explosive vial worn at Mirael's side is extremely unstable. She's been absorbing the explosive energy to prevent a destructive explosion. Most people think she is dangerous because of the substances she carries, but she's always in control.

10
There are ruins outside the imperial capital, which were created when Mirael repelled a huge Hypofiend. It's said that charred ruins still smolder to this day, and no one dares go near them for fear of being turned to ash.

11
Passing by a farmhouse engulfed in flames, Mirael took the flames and shaped them into a fireball, swiftly bringing an end to the fire. The villagers mistook her for the culprit. She simply smiled at their fearful faces before taking her leave.
